One of my favorite breakfast places. Very friendly and the service is good. Highly recommend the monte cristo and the black and white cookies.

My husband and I both work from home. So, we grab take out quite a bit, as there is only so many meals a day you can cook all week long. If it were up to me, breakfast, lunch and dinner would be at the Central Park Family Restaurant in NPR. Chris (the owner) and his family, including his beautiful wife and their beautiful baby girl, Sofia, are practically a part of our family and I am certain that every customer they have as "regulars" would say the same thing. Whether you eat there or take out, every single customer is treated warmly, graciously and made to feel like you are a part of their great big Greek family. For Central Florida and those of you who are natives of New York and New Jersey, the CPC is about as close to those amazing 24 hour Greek diners you know and love back home. They've been in Pinellas and Hillsborough for years now...but now that they have graced us with their presence here in Pasco? We could not be happier! They are literally five blocks from our home and we WOULD eat there around the clock if we could! Ohhhhh, if ONLY they were open 24 hours. Breakfast highlights: They make THE most amazing home fries you will find any where in Pasco County. Not greasy, but hot, tasty, crispy and with just the right amount of seasoning. Eggs? Any way you want them, you got it. They are VERY used to taking "personal requests" from their customers. (More on that when we get to "dinner"). Lunch highlights: Their large Greek salads. Yes, these ARE the greek salads you know and love from up north. And, they don't use the word "large" loosely. It is a kitchen sink of a bowl full of delicious and fresh greens, various peppers, tomatoes, greek olives, the freshest feta cheese and their to DIE for potato salad. But the wow factor comes from their home made specialty greek dressing. It packs a nice punch and will make you want to lick the bowl clean. ($7.49 for an enormous portion, add chicken or gyro for $2 more). But for those of you who want a heavier lunch, you have the standard diner fare of Monte Cristo's, delicious wraps, amazing soups (I HIGHLY recommend their split pea soup. If Linda Blair had this soup in her mouth while filming the Exorcist, she never would have spit it out, thereby destroying one of the greatest moments in cinema history.) Their chicken lemon rice soup is amazing too and their Navy Bean is like O. M. G. How about a thick burger like "The Skyscraper"? A burger with THREE half pound patties of the best black angus beef piled high with MEAT CANDY (aka bacon), cheeses, Lettuce, tomato, onion...and whatever other fixings you want to make this one tip the scales at two full pounds of DELISH! ($9.99; add soup AND fries for $1.29 more). Dinner highlights: Think comfort foods. Warm, rich, hearty meatloaf with mashed and a gravy that would make a good ol' southern gal cry from shame that hers could not compare. The "Central Park Signature", a combo of pastrami and corned beef with swiss cheese, grilled onions, some spicy mustard on REAL New York Jewish Rye (is there really any other kind?) $6.89 for this monster sandwich and it comes with soup and fries for that price! Liver and onions. Pork chops. And all the good old Greek specialties, like Gyros and Spanakopita. Desserts are insane. From red velvet cupcakes, to HUGE portions of cheesecakes, specialty greek desserts that rival those down in Tarpon. Always fresh, always delicious. But, the best thing of all about CPFR? The atmosphere. The easy way the staff all take care of you. The way all the customers become family if you are there often enough. The fact that whenever you walk in, Chris and his family are always running some sort of charity event, for Breast Cancer Awareness, for feeding the local homeless, fundraisers for local schools...they are always doing something to give back to the community. And any time you can get your food with a side order of good karma? That's a place I want to eat at day and night. centralparkfamilyrestaur… Make sure to "like" them on Facebook to get the daily specials, some coupons and some photos that will make your mouth water. (Chris and his wife are pretty easy on the eyes too, like a Greek Barbie and Ken! LOL) And meet their baby, Sophia. I dare you not to want to pinch those cheeks! It's very affordable for the enormous portions, it's fun, the place is homey with its NYC decor without overkill, it's a great place for the entire family and a wonderful asset to the sleepy town of New Port Richey. The parking lot is always jam packed all day long, but Chris and his staff always manage to make room for you at his family's table. 7 days a week from 6 am to 8 pm...you have family waiting for you at the Central Park Family Restaurant. And it always feels like home.

We stumbled across this restaurant while driving down SR54, and decided to give it a try. Large portions, clean floors, and very friendly staff. Even the busboys had smiles on their faces, and you could tell that they geniunely enjoyed working there. The food was excellent, and we would certainly go back for more. Love this place! My boyfriend and I eat here a couple times a week. Burger and Blt, eggs and ham, etc. etc. we took my family here when they were in town for breakfast, everyone left happy and full.. It's such a great value! Ask for lennie, he's the best server there! Good food, generous portions, nice clean looking dining area. Win win win!

For those who left 3-star or less reviews, I have to wonder if you were at the right restaurant. We've eaten there many times in the last several years and have yet to have anything but an excellent experience. If you think these generous portions aren't large enough, what are you, a yeti? We always have to take to-go boxes home with us. Chris, his family, and ALL the staff work hard to make customers feel welcome. Food is always prepared well and delicious. There are too many choices for me to pick a favorite. Everything is always awesome.

I've never had a bad meal here. The selection of omelets is overwhelming; I usually have the Mexican or Greek omelet and both are so delicious. Home fries are awesome & they have really good salads too. It's also very clean and the decor is cute, very autumn up north-esque. They have the best Greek lemon orzo soup!

Saw their ad in the Neighborhood News and thought I would give this restaurant a try. The restaurant is in a small strip mall with only one access in. Very tight parking, to say the least . Their menu is extensive and I decided on the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and salad. While I was reviewing the menu I thought I felt a drip of water, but I assumed it was from my water glass. When my dinner arrived there was brown gravy, not white as what is customary, and the chicken fried steak was cut so thin that it was almost nonexistent between the breading. I think there was meat there, but to be honest, I'm not really sure. Again I felt the drip of water. I looked up and the AC vent was full of condensation and dripping on me and the table and maybe even in my food...yuck! I ask for my check and went to the front to pay. I told the woman that I was dripped on from their AC unit. And her response was "oh it does that all the time". REALLY!? She could care less. Needless to say, I won't be going back there. If you do decide to try this restaurant despite my warning....look up before you are seated!

We had heard from several people that Central Park had good breakfast, so after driving past many, many times, we stopped in. We have a lot of kids and that often presents a challenge when we attempt to dine at smaller restaurants. We were a party of nine, seven of those being children. We were greeted by friendly staff and although they were on a wait for tables, they did their best to accommodate us as quickly as possible. Service was great, menu was huge, we all loved our food. My favorite was the crunchy French toast, which is coated in corn flakes- so yummy! I also loved the home fries with added grilled onions. Prices were reasonable. We will absolutely return for breakfast again.

This restaurant was recommended to me, so I read all the reviews, here and on Urban Spoon. I took 2 others with me for lunch there today. Service was great, but the food...not so much. Starting with my meal, I ordered the steak and cheese hoagie. I paid .75 more for cooked onions. They were chopped small and on a foot long bun I got about a tablespoon. My sandwich was cut in 1/2 and it look yummy when our waiter put it down in front of us. When I opened it to put condiments on it, there was no meat or onions 2" from both ends. That 4" of a plain bun, and frankly, very little meat altogether. I ordered a chocolate egg cream, and it was okay. Neither my self, or my SIL cared for the fries. they tasted like they were batter coated, or something. My SIL ordered a dinner size Greek salad. It was fine, but no potato salad. She ordered a gyro and honestly, there were about four pieces of meat, a couple of teaspoons of tomatoes and chopped onions and very little sauce. The pita was chewy. It did not look good, and it did not taste good. My other friend ordered the French Dip and she was the lucky winner today. It was a foot long and cut it 2 pieces. She sent it back to get some cheese on it and they plopped a couple of slices on it and brought it back unmelted, but hey, eventually it did from the heat of the meat. She liked the fries, too. I'm the only one who ordered dessert. I ordered a piece of banana walnut cake. Totally not what I expected. I expect a banana cake, with walnuts in it, and some kind of frosting. What I got was a standard yellow cake covered in a banana flavored frosting and walnuts sprinkled on the top and side. It was moist, but other than that there were no other redeeming factors to this cake. The owner, who is really very nice, asked me about the cake. He said he has a baker that makes cakes for him, and that he never "had" the banana cake, so he appreciated my feedback. I found this amazing. If this was your restaurant, wouldn't you make sure you, at the very least, taste everything you sell? My teenagers ate there recently and said their egg burger was very good. I think if I go back I'll order a burger, or maybe the French Dip. I'm giving this place a 3 star rating for my friend's French Dip, the pleasant service, and because the place was immaculately clean.

Service and attitude were fabulous. The burger was good. We had stuffed cabbage, the giant Greek plat,e and the oriental salad. Thumbs down to all. Golden Corral has better food.

This restaurant goes above and beyond for their customers! My family and I have driven by Central Park hundreds of times and we finally decided to stop by and try it last night. We were blown away! First when we walked in the door we were immediately greeted by the owner, we looked over and saw the chefs specials of the day and couldn't believe the pricing it was great! We were seated at a large table, the owner saw we had our baby with us, the table was clean the restaurant was clean, great atmosphere. We then were greeted by our server, she was very friendly, we apologized for coming in so late (8pm) she just smiled, she immediately served us our drink order. The menu is huge, there's lots of options! Whatever your in the mood for, trust me it will be on this menu. I'm a big boy, and I like to eat, the portions were huge (MANLY SIZED) I ordered the French Dip with fries, the dip was AWESOME! My fiance ordered one of the specials, spinach alfredo ravioli, her plate came out piping hot with two huge pieces of garlic bread, her dinner also came with a decent sized salad, it was great. Another member of our part had a gyro, and that to was surprisingly good! The last member of our family (who happens to be on a diet) she ordered the greek salad and split pea soup. She said the soup was better then any homemade soup shes ever had, the salad was massive and it was good, I tried it! I also decided to try one of their famous burgers, it was juicy and cooked to perfection and served on a toasted kaiser roll! The server was correct when she said they had the best burgers! You know everyone at your table had a great meal when there is no leftovers on the plate!!!! The owner came by and offered us some of their deserts, you have to try the RED VELVET CHEESECAKE it was incredible! Our entire experience here was above expectations! We will definitely be back, we live rite down the street! We will also make sure we recommend this restaurant to all of our family and friends! I cant wait to come back! Might just go again tonight!

Food was decent although portions could be larger compared to similar restaurants. Our waitress was good under the circumstances. The owner and I guess his father was extremely rude to her. Several times he spoke with her about busing tables and other duties that belonged to other employees. He never spoke to the other waitress working that night. The place was packed and our waitress apparently also had the majority of the tables. It made my daughter and I feel very uncomfortable and put a damper on the meal.

Good food. Great service just bordering on intrusive but not over. Breakfast all day is better than most. Highly recommend the Elvis French toast with bananas, bacon and peanut butter sauce.

Service is spot on, food is spot on! Located in a small strip mall with minimal parking, this little joint can get a little tight. The staff doesn't seem phased at all. portions are huge, but prices are fair. I usually go for the massive country fried steak and eggs, but i haven't had a bad meal here yet. Breakfast is served all day, but the Wendy turkey burger deserves mention. Will hit this place up anytime I can!

I love surprises...and I got one when I stopped here on a whim! Nicely decorated & clean, I felt really comfy. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Len was my server and set the standard for a great visit. I ordered a breakfast baseline, scrambled eggs, hash browns with a biscuit n gravy half order. Spot on. Seasoning light and appreciated. Came back a second time a couple of weeks later and had corned beef hash, eggs over easy, & a plain bagel with cream cheese. Take a good look at my photo...5 slices of beautiful tomatoes, perfectly made over easy eggs so the would run all over the hash, and I substituted a decent sized, perfectly toasted bagel. The price? $7.73! THAT is an example of all the great value pricing on the menu! Once again, friendly service shown this time by Litza! Yes, I've become a big fan of Central Park and recommend you visit if you're in the area! And tell them you saw this review on Yelp! ;-)

We took a Thursday night dinner and instead of our favorite Mexican place down the road, we went to a place recommended by a local friend... Central Park is a little strip mall diner with minimal parking. We got inside and the place was busy...mostly an older crowd, perhaps enjoying the rather cheap prices. We were seated in a booth that was practically in the kitchen. Everytime a server went to the computer, it felt like they were looking over my shoulder. i want to say that service was very good. Our server, Dina, was prompt and friendly. She was sympathetic that we were in a bit of a rush. Food, on the other hand, wasn't so good. My wife ordered the Asian salad....it was mostly bitter lettuce hearts and tomatoes so unripe the outside was white. The chicken was very dry and the Asian dressing was almost flavorless. I had the BLT club...which is a BLT with an extra piece of bread. They use thick bacon, which was burnt on the outside and undone in the center...almost like it was cooked too fast. I got the same unripe tomatoes as my wife's salad.

Warning GIANT portions! Huge menu that makes it hard to choose what I want, especially since everything I've tried was good. Love their fries and the service is always above average. Parking stinks but that is the only thing I have ever had to complain about.

Always a great meal... A 5 star restaurant! Great service, friendly staff and incredible food. I can't recommend just any one meal, so I would suggest that you start at the top of the menu and with each visit you work your way down. You won't be disappointed. Today I had the cheeseburger omelette... It was awesome!!!
